Honest Shipping

We do not insult your intelligence by hiding the shipping costs in the
price of our items, and then offering “free” shipping – trying to fool
you into thinking that we are absorbing the shipping costs. What
nonsense! Our shipping costs are based on an estimate of the shipper’s
rates, ebay shipping fees, plus a small handling charge.
If you can find the same item with a cheaper
total
cost – purchase price plus shipping – anywhere on the web – please
contact us. We cannot guarantee to beat it (because of distance-based
shipping), but will give it our best shot.
Please be
sure that you understand, and are comfortable with, the total costs
before making your purchase. If you have any questions – please ask
first.
Combined Shipping:
We always offer
combined shipping for multiple purchases. Please add your purchases to
your ebay “cart”. When you have completed your purchases, (either
multiple items from a single listing, or items from two or more
listings), please contact us, using the “Requests total from seller”
button, and we will generate a final combined-shipping invoice..
Note:
You will possibly receive an earlier invoice (or invoices) generated
automatically by ebay. These are accurate for single item purchases, but
often inaccurate for multiple items, due to limitations with ebay’s
shipping calculator. Our combined shipping invoice will include a note
stating that it reflects combined shipping. If you have any doubts – just ask.
Shipping Methods:
Unless otherwise noted, for each item we offer three forms of shipping:
1. personal pick-up:
You can meet us in San Jose, CA – with zero shipping charges.
2. One of: expedited
USPS First Class Mail if the package qualifies, or
economy
USPS Media Mail if the package qualifies, or
economy
USPS Parcel Post.
3. expedited
USPS Priority Express Mail
We are always willing to at least consider any other valid shipping method – just ask.
If the costs allow it, we will promote your package to a faster service where we can, at no additional charge to you.
If
shipping is not to a USA contiguous 48 state street address, or you
request a faster or other shipping method, such as UPS Air, or Express
Mail, then shipping costs may vary.
Please allow at least 14
business days for delivery to the contiguous 48 USA states. Media Mail
typically takes longer. More specific estimates are available on the
USPS web site.
For AK and HI
, USPS Priority Mail should take 4 days or fewer, but USPS offers no time estimates for Parcel Post.
Books, other printed matter, and media:
We
typically ship books, CDs, videos, and the like by Media Mail. This can
be considerably slower than other services. If you need your book
quickly, please let us know, and we will re-quote the shipping,
typically at a higher cost.
International Buyers
– Please note:
International
mail is often slower than the estimates available on the USPS web site,
so customers should allow a minimum of 14 days for airmail delivery – longer if your parcel is held in incoming customs. USPS no longer offers
any
international surface mail, or M-bag service. Air Mail is
the only remaining option for international shipments. International
buyers should double-check for mailing costs before bidding.
Also:
Import duties, taxes and charges
are
not
included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the
buyer’s responsibility, so please check with your country’s customs
office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to
bidding/buying.
Additional charges are sometimes collected by
the delivering freight (shipping) company on delivery or pick-up – do
not confuse them with additional shipping charges.
We do not
mark merchandise with lower values, or mark items as “gifts” – US and
International government regulations prohibit such behaviour.
Questions.

If
you have any questions, please ask at least 24 hours before end of
auction as we have other commitments that require our attention, and are
not always at the computer. We pack with care but after your parcel is
delivered to the carrier we have no control over delivery times. Please
ask all questions before bidding.
Returns.
Unless otherwise noted, we always accept returns – for any reason. The item must be returned within 30 days
with all original packaging
. The purchase price will be refunded when the item is returned
in the same condition as it was shipped
. If there is a relevant error in the listing description, we will also refund shipping in both directions.
Problems & Issues.
Please always contact us with any problems before leaving any feedback
or DSRs. We will always do everything we can to resolve any issue. Once
feedback has been left it cannot be changed, and we cannot guarantee to
resolve your problems.

Payment Method:
For
shipped purchases, all major credit card payments through Paypal. We cannot accept credit card
payments directly.
Payment Timing:
Unless negotiated before the purchase is made, payment must be received within seven days of the listing’s close.
All non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay.
Wherever
possible, orders are shipped within three business days after receiving
your payment (or, in the case of e-cheques, after the payment clears).
This does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
